A little bit about her life
Lydia doesn't think that her life was all that bad. Although her mom died giving birth to her and her father took it pretty hard so he fled to Paris, she has been living pretty well with her aunt's family.
Her aunt and uncle love her as if she is their own. She also gets a free little sister. And even though she has never seen her own father directly, he still paid her living expenses.
It wasn't that bad right? Considering this, Lydia honestly thinks that she is quite lucky.
